Bigjar Systems announces release of BBlaster a product that forwards broadcasts across VPN connections or other networks that don’t allow broadcasts to flow across them.
Bblaster works with a “wrapper” application that tells the Bblaster device when to start and stop forwarding broadcasts. “If you have an application that requires broadcasts and you want it to run over a VPN, BBlaster is the product you need” said Chief Executive Officer, Jason Mitchell. Ideal for legacy applications, Bblaster can help VPN enable these applications so users can work remotely.
Bblaster starts at $2995 for 5 ports and an unlimited number of users. The default hardware can be upgraded to support higher bandwidth rates at an additional cost.
